On Friday 2 August, we proudly celebrated the achievements of 832 graduates from the Class of 2024.

Held at the Singapore Expo Convention & Exhibition Centre, the ceremony was graced by Mr Chee Hong Tat, Minister for Transport. Minister Chee warmly congratulated LASALLE's graduates in his speech, presented the McNally Award for Excellence in the Arts, and interacted with graduates after the ceremony.

The McNally Award for Excellence in the Arts, LASALLE's valedictorian award, was presented to Elliott Tan, BA (Hons) Music. A well-versed musician, Elliot majored in electronic music, with her compositions and sound designs reflecting a deep understanding of music and a unique creative vision. Following graduation, Elliott embarked on a Masters of Music in Creative Practice at Goldsmiths, University of London.

"I’m living my dream. If this is your dream then I want you to have it too. I want you to honour your truth, and not to be pressured into turning away from your craft, because that would be such a shame. Every LASALLE student is already so good at what they do, and we can only get better... engaging with art is what makes me feel grateful to be alive, and the only thing more magical than that is making art."
– Elliott Tan, Recipient of the McNally Award for Excellence in the Arts 2024

Graduates were joined by their family, friends and loved ones, with an attendance of over 2,000 on the day.
